The Context
Why Our Work in Ghana Matters
In many parts of Ghana, particularly in rapidly growing peri-urban areas like Madina, Dodowa, and Abokobi, families face complex challenges. Rapid urbanization often outpaces infrastructure, leaving vulnerable populations without adequate access to quality education, healthcare, and stable economic opportunities.
Women and children are disproportionately affected. When a mother lacks the capital to start a small trading business, her children are often forced to drop out of school to help support the family. This perpetuates a cycle of generational poverty that is incredibly difficult to break without external intervention.

Transforming Lives Across the Region
Our holistic approach targets the root causes of poverty in Ghanaian communities through three primary pillars of intervention.
Economic Empowerment
We provide micro-loans, financial literacy training, and vocational skills (like dressmaking and agriculture) to women in Madina and Dodowa, enabling them to start businesses and support their households.
